Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CalorY, an AI-powered nutrition tracking and voice cooking assistant available at calory.nataktv.com ("the Service"). By accessing or using CalorY, you agree to be bound by these Terms. The Service is operated by Sandeep Choudhary ("we", "our", "us").

2. Service Description

CalorY provides the following features:

  • AI-powered food photo scanning for nutritional estimation.
  • Daily nutrition and calorie tracking with macro breakdown.
  • Voice-guided cooking assistant with step-by-step instructions.
  • Personalized recipe suggestions based on dietary preferences.
  • Dietary goal setting including calorie, protein, carbs, and fat targets.
  • Food logging history and nutritional insights.

3. Account and User Responsibilities

  • You must sign in using a valid Google account via Firebase Authentication.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate personal and dietary information.
  • You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to: attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the platform.
  • You must not share your account access with others or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Subscription and Pricing

  • Free Trial: New users may access a trial for ₹1 for 1 day. This trial charge is non-refundable.
  • Monthly Subscription: After the trial, the Service is available at ₹149 per month.
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before renewal.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from Profile > Subscription & Billing. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through Razorpay.

5. AI Disclaimer

CalorY uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to analyze food photos and estimate nutritional content. Please note:

  • All nutritional estimates provided by AI are approximate and may not be 100% accurate.
  • CalorY is not a medical service and does not provide medical, dietary, or clinical nutrition advice.
  • The Service should not be used as a substitute for professional medical or nutritional guidance.
  • Users with specific health conditions, allergies, or medical dietary requirements should consult a qualified healthcare professional.
  • We are not liable for any health outcomes resulting from reliance on AI-generated nutritional estimates.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, design, code, and branding of CalorY are the intellectual property of Sandeep Choudhary and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Recipes and meal suggestions provided through the Service are for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, distribute, or reproduce any part of the platform without prior written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CalorY and its operator shall not be held liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
  • Inaccuracies in AI-generated nutritional estimates or recipe suggestions.
  • Service interruptions, data loss, or technical failures beyond our reasonable control.
  • Any health consequences resulting from dietary decisions made based on information provided by the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid in subscription fees during the preceding 3 months.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
