About Dry Fruit Ladoo
Jain-friendly no-cook energy balls with dates and mixed nuts — no onion, no garlic, no root vegetables
Ingredients
- Dates (Khajoor)1 cup, deseeded
- Almonds15 pieces
- Cashew Nuts10 pieces
- Pistachios10 pieces
- Desiccated Coconut2 tbsp
- Ghee1 tsp
- Cardamom Powder1/4 tsp
How to make it
- 1Deseed 1 cup dates and chop roughly.
- 2Dry roast almonds, cashews, and pistachios for 2 minutes. Chop coarsely.
- 3Heat 1 tsp ghee in a pan. Add dates and cook on low heat, mashing until a sticky paste forms.
- 4Mix in chopped dry fruits, desiccated coconut, and cardamom powder. Let cool slightly.
- 5Grease palms with ghee and roll mixture into 12 small ladoos. Coat with desiccated coconut if desired.
